When Hannah had her 15 month shot she developed a slight rash after the first day, which is sometimes common when receiving a vaccination. By the next day it was a little worse and by the third day, Holy Cow! She was covered from head to toe in what I called "Giraffe Spots."She looked like a Giraffe. By this time it was past 5pm on a Friday. The Dr. office was closed. Luckily she wasn't trying to scratch them and she didn't have a fever. As we progressed through the weekend her Giraffe spots only became more unbearable to look at. Even though she wasn't complaining, I'm sure she wasn't feeling well. I could see they weren't going to clear up on their own. So, off to the Dr. office we went on Monday morning. The Dr. wasn't sure if the rash was from her vaccine or from something else she was allergic to. At any rate, she got a prescription of steroids and before long she was back to her normal white pasty skin that she got from both Benj and I.
