When we celebrate Christmas with my husband's family we always have a "get together" on Christmas Eve. We eat dinner, play games, have a gift exchange, and each family provides a "talent" of some sort, which is usually performed by the children. This year Madison and Camden performed our family talent. Madison wore a Santa Hat and Camden wore Reindeer Antlers. They sang and echoed Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. They were so funny. I can't believe they actually did and liked it. My children are not known for doing things that put them on the spot.

Madison thought she was the bomb at Limbo!

Camden thought for sure he was the winner.

All of the nieces and nephews lined up and ready to play kids games.

Our family has out grown Benj's parents house for parties, so if we all get together we have to go the church. It works out perfect. The boys play basketball while the girls chat and take care of babies. How is this not the perfect set up?... for the guys! Oh well, it all evens out in the end. The ladies get their turn to play too.

Here we have our lovely crew of Wise men, Angels, Shepherds, and of course Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus. Benj's mom has always made sure there is enough costumes for every child to participate. In the beginning there weren't enough kids to fill all the roles, so the adults got to dress up too. Benj's dad always reads the story of Jesus' Birth from the Bible as the children walk in on cue. The older kids are starting to fade out of this and just watch, but the younger kids are begging to play the role of Mary and Joseph. This year Madison and Camden were both Shepherds. Madison cried because she desperately wanted to be Mary.
